Milique Martelly Re-signs With The Lightning For 25/26

Martelly has become a fan favourite at Planet Ice Milton Keynes.

In the 2024/25 season, Martelly showcased his offensive prowess from the blue line, tallying 7 goals and 19 assists over 51 games, accumulating 26 points and 28 penalty minutes. 

Expressing his enthusiasm for the upcoming season, Martelly said:

“Happy to be back with the team and keep building off the back of last season. The pieces are starting to come together and I can’t wait to be back on the ice with the boys come September!”

Head Coach Tim Wallace shared his thoughts on Martelly’s re-signing

“Milique is a player who continues to improve year after year. He is a dynamic skater with a strong drive to elevate all areas of his game. I love the confidence and hockey sense that he showed throughout this past season. He has a very bright future and I expect big things from him next year.”

Martelly’s return is a significant boost to the Lightning’s defensive lineup, bringing both offensive capability and steadfast defence. Fans can look forward to seeing #33 back in action, electrifying the ice with his dynamic play.

Milique will wear the number 55 jersey this year.
