Richard Hartmann leaves the Lightning to join the Phantoms
The WALDECK Peterborough Phantoms announce the signing of 18-year-old forward Richard Hartmann for the remainder of the 24/25 season!

Hartmann joins the Phantoms from fellow NIHL side MK Lightning where he played 7 games. Prior to this, Richard made his debut in the SNL with the Dundee Comets as a 16-year-old and went on to post 31 goals, 30 assists in just 49 games.

Head Coach Slava Koulikov commented:

“We’re really happy to have secured Richard’s signature. With the progression Barni and Nojus have made throughout the first part of the season, we wanted to add more raw, young talent to our roster.

Richard has high goals, the right attitude, and will fit well in our group. He will bring energy, speed, and grit to our forward lineup, and I am looking forward to working with him.”

Richard Hartmann commented: “I am really excited to be joining the Phantoms and can’t wait to get started and playing in front of the fans.”

Hartmann will go straight in to the line up for this weekend in the Phantoms double header against the Leeds Knights
