Carter Hamill Named Player Of The Week!

Hamill finished the weekend with an impressive six points, including four goals, as the Lightning picked up back-to-back victories against the Romford Raiders and Bristol.

Saturday night saw MK Lightning welcome the Romford Raiders to home ice, with Hamill finding the net twice as the Lightning battled their way to a 4–2 victory. His two goals helped set the tone for an important opening win to the weekend.

The Lightning then travelled to Bristol on Sunday, where Hamill once again proved decisive. He scored two more goals to help propel MK to a hard-fought 5–3 victory, completing a perfect weekend on the road.

With six points across the two games, including four goals, Hamill was a key figure in the Lightning’s success and played a major part in securing all four available points.

His outstanding performances have now been recognised by the league, with Hamill deservedly taking home the NIHL Player of the Week award
