Telford Tigers Confirm Returning Players Ahead of 2026/27 Season
Telford Tigers have confirmed a number of returning players ahead of the 2026/27 NIHL National League season as preparations continue for the new campaign.

Scott McKenzie, Louie Newell, Harry Ferguson, Brad Day, Deakan Fielder, Nick Oliver, Caelan McPhee, Eric Henderson and Tyler Somerton are all set to remain with the club for the upcoming season.

The club has also confirmed that Taylor Stanton and James Mather will continue as part of the National League roster. Both players spent time during the previous campaign on two-way arrangements with Telford Tigers 2 as they continued their development within the organisation.

In addition, Danny Rose has agreed a new two-year contract extension, which will keep him with the Tigers through to the end of the 2027/28 season.

Telford Tigers General Manager and Head Coach Tom Watkins said the returning group provides an important foundation ahead of the new season.

“The players returning give us a strong core to build around heading into the new season. There’s a good mix of experience, character, leadership and younger players developing through the system.”

The club also confirmed that Patrick Brown, Kris Fugalis, Bryn Capps and David Thomson will not return for the 2026/27 campaign.
