Jordan Marr Announced His Retirement
Marr’s journey through the sport saw him represent several well-known clubs across the UK. He began his senior career with the Milton Keynes Lightning and the Hull Seahawks, gaining valuable experience and developing his craft as a dependable presence between the pipes.
It was, however, his move to the Peterborough Phantoms that truly defined his career. At Peterborough, Marr established himself as one of the league’s standout netminders. His performances were instrumental during a memorable 2023/24 campaign, where the Phantoms lifted both the NIHL Cup and the play-off championship. The play-off final proved especially dramatic, with victory secured in a tense shootout, an occasion that highlighted Marr’s composure and ability to deliver under pressure.
Following his success with the Phantoms, Marr took on a new challenge with the Solway Sharks. Over two seasons in Scotland, he continued to bring experience and leadership to the squad, further cementing his reputation as a reliable and skilled goaltender.
Now, after a decade of dedication to the sport, Marr has chosen to step away from the game. His retirement marks the end of a career defined by consistency, big-game performances, and notable team success.
We wish Jordan Marr all the very best in his retirement and whatever comes next.
