Integrity Review into BT/NBT Classification and Roster Compliance

The review relates to the application of NIHL eligibility rules and NBT roster limits. NIHL has confirmation that the matter is not an IIHF transfer / ITC issue. The review is therefore focused on BT/NBT classification and NIHL roster compliance.

NIHL has implemented interim measures while the review is completed, including evidence gathering and a fixture-by-fixture audit of match sheets. The league will conclude the review as quickly as possible and will communicate the outcome, including any competition remedies and/or disciplinary actions, in line with NIHL Rules of Competition.

NIHL will not be providing ongoing commentary while the review is live, but remains committed to a fair, consistent and transparent process that protects the integrity of the competition.
