Swindon Wildcats Sign Caden Villegas!

The Bespoke Guardians Swindon Wildcats are delighted to confirm the arrival of American Forward Caden Villegas for the remainder of the 25/26 campaign.

The 24-year-old from Texas, joins the club from the Maine Mariners in the ECHL. Having played his entire career in the USA, he heads to the UK for his first hockey experience abroad.

He also spent time in NCAA at Union College where he was a former team-mate of current Wildcat Tyler Watkins. At NCAA level he posted 80 points in 139 games at Union College.

Speaking after sealing his signature, Head Coach Aaron Nell said:

“I’m thrilled to bring Caden in at this point of the season. I think he’s going to really help us offensively and I’ve had brilliant reports about him. It was a quick conversation between us and he’s excited to get to Swindon."

Providing the relevant paperwork is completed, Caden will be in the lineup this weekend against Telford and Romford.
