Raiders Add Canadian Forward Andrew Coxhead!
Coxhead arrives in Romford with a strong pedigree from both North American junior and university hockey, bringing experience, versatility, and a proven scoring touch. The Ontario-born forward enjoyed a productive collegiate career at Saint Mary’s University (USports), where he was a consistent offensive contributor over three seasons.
During his time with the Huskies, Coxhead recorded 58 points in 69 USports games, including a standout 2022–23 season in which he posted 24 points (14 goals, 10 assists) in 26 games. He followed that up in 2023–24 by serving as an alternate captain, registering 22 points in 28 games, while playing a key leadership role within the lineup.
Prior to his university career, Coxhead spent multiple seasons in the QMJHL, skating for Québec Remparts, Rimouski Océanic, and Gatineau Olympiques, where he demonstrated his ability to contribute offensively at a high junior level. More recently, he has gained professional experience in the ECHL, adding further depth to his well-rounded résumé.
Speaking about the move to Romford, Coxhead said:
“I’m really excited about this new opportunity and can’t wait to get things started in Romford!”
Andrew’s combination of North American experience, leadership qualities, and offensive upside makes him an exciting addition to the Raiders roster as the team pushes through the remainder of the season.
