Swindon Wildcats 6-3 Telford Tigers
The Cats came from 3-1 behind with four goals in the second period to ease to a 6-3 home win, Tyler Watkins scoring twice and Tomasz Malasinski getting three assists on the night.
Bristol Pitbulls 5-6 (PS) Basingstoke Bison
It was a thriller at the Pound with four goals in the final period which couldn’t separate the two sides. It went all the way to a shootout before Luke Spadafora netted the winning shootout goal.
MK Lightning 3-4 (PS) Sheffield Steeldogs
A back and forth game saw the Steeldogs tie it with less than 10 minutes to go to take it to overtime. But after 65 minutes of hockey there was still no winner which sent it to a shootout. In sudden death it would be Kyle Watson who scored the winning goal to hand the extra point to the Steeldogs.
Solway Sharks 3-4 Peterborough Phantoms
The first of a double header saw the Phantoms sneak it in overtime through Cam Hough, however it was a great fight back from the Sharks who were 3-0 down and took it to overtime.
Solway Sharks 4-5 Peterborough Phantoms
Just like the night before there was drama with the Sharks going 3-0 this time, however the Phantoms fought back and just when it looked like it was going to overtime, Dillon Lawrence scored with eight seconds left to hand the Phantoms a four-point weekend.
Romford Raiders 9-5 MK Lightning
It was a goal fest at the Sapphire where the Raiders marched to a 14 goal thriller. Shaun Miller with four goals on the night and Jake Sylvester adding another two goals to his season tally.
Hull Seahawks 6-8 Bristol Pitbulls
Another 14 goal thriller, but this time at the Hull Ice Arena where the Pitbulls scored eight! Jake Bricknell with four goals on the night to take his season tally to 21. A huge two points for Bristol and a tough loss for the Seahawks in their only game of the weekend.
Telford Tigers 2-3 Sheffield Steeldogs
A tight affair in Telford as the Steeldogs secured a four-point weekend. A goal from Walker Sommer with just over five minutes left was enough to hand the Steeldogs with another away victory.
Basingstoke Bison 0-2 Leeds Knights
Finally the Knights rounded off another four-point weekend with back-to-back shutouts. Sam Gospel making 17 saves on the night. Balint Pakozdi and Finn Bradon with goals for the Knights.
