It was a weekend to remember for 16-year-old forward AJ Herring, who recorded his first professional point for the Peterborough Phantoms in their matchup against the Bristol Pitbulls.

Sagan, who has been developing his game with the Widness Wild in the NIHL 1 north, seized his opportunity with the senior Phantoms side and made an immediate impact. The young forward notched an assist on Morgan Clarke-Pizzo’s goal, marking his first point in the NIHL National Division.

Despite the pressure of stepping up from the NIHL 1, Herring looked composed and confident on the ice, showing flashes of the skill and awareness that have earned him recognition within the Phantoms organization. His contribution helped inject energy into the Peterborough lineup and demonstrated the strength of the development pathway between the two leagues.

The Phantoms faithful will be eager to see more of the young forward as he continues to develop and push for more opportunities at the professional level.
