Swindon Wildcats 4-3 Telford Tigers
The Wildcats four goals in first period were enough to sneak past the Tigers and secure an important two points in the league and cup. 18 year-old Ben Clarke-Leach stepping up with a big performance saving 35/38 shots.
Basingstoke Bison 3-2 Bristol Pitbulls
The Bison made it back-to-back home wins with a narrow victory against the Pitbulls. Brendan Sellan and Luke Spadafora linking up once again for the goals, becoming a deadly duo!
MK Lightning 1-3 Hull Seahawks
Big road victory for Matty Davies side who limited the Lightning to just one goal. Jordy Stallard with another game winning goal and really stepping up the last couple weeks. Second home defeat in a row for the Lightning
Sheffield Steeldogs 6-2 Peterborough Phantoms
The Steeldogs kept the train rolling with another impressive victory. Bair Gendunov scoring a hat-trick on the night and making it nine wins in a row for Slava’s side.
Solway Sharks 4-5 (PS) Romford Raiders
Despite going 4-0 down the Sharks battled back with four powerplay goals to take it all the way to penalty shots where the Raiders did take the extra point, Tjay Anderson scoring the winning shootout goal.
Bristol Pitbulls 4-5 (OT) Telford Tigers
A thrilling game between the two teams with Telford taking the extra point in overtime. The two veterans in Scott McKenzie and Danny Rose combining for the overtime winner. Jake Bricknell and Tanner Butler both scoring a brace for the Pitbulls.
Solway Sharks 4-1 Romford Raiders
The Sharks secured a comfortable win in the second of a double header making it a three-point weekend against the Raiders. Dylan Stewart and Derek Osik combining for three goals together.
Leeds Knights 2-3 (OT) Basingstoke Bison
The Bison secured a huge four-point weekend with an overtime victory against the Knights. Will Stead ripping the game winner past Gospel after Zack Milton tied the game in regulation with just 40 seconds left.
Hull Seahawks 4-5 Sheffield Steeldogs
Yet another win for the Steeldogs who made it 10 wins on the bounce with a narrow victory. An Owen Sobchak hat-trick wasn’t quite enough for the Seahawks to come away with anything.
Peterborough Phantoms 4-5 MK Lightning
And finally the big derby where it started with two fights in the first second of the match. Sean Norris who just returned from GB scored twice to help the Lightning get an important victory on the road. A tough weekend for the Phantoms.
