Youngster, Stanley Johnston Joins The Basingstoke Bison!
The Basingstoke Bison are pleased to announce the signing of young British defenceman Stanley Johnston for the upcoming 2025/26 season.
Johnston, 21, was born in London and developed through the Guildford youth system, with brief stints in Norway and Canada before spending the last three years refining his game in the USA.
Head Coach Jeff Flanagan said "Stanley has spent the past few years developing his game in the USA, and we’re pleased to bring him back to the UK to continue to develop his game. He’s a young British defenceman with good puck-moving skills, and we’re excited to see him in a Bison jersey this season." On joining the Herd, Stanley said “I am excited to sign with Bison and can’t wait to get started!”
